Pacers Finish in 16 Place at NCAA D-II Regionals
WINGATE, NC – The University of South Carolina Aiken women’s cross country team finished 16 in the 2008 NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Championships meet on Saturday November 8 on the Wingate campus. The Pacers had 349 points, while the first place Lees-McRae finished with 85 points.
Leading the way for the Cardinal and Navy was sophomore Nicole Maitland. She came in 20th place with a time of 25:09.
Coming in behind Maitland was freshman Morgan Hudgins in 42nd place. She crossed the line with a time of 26:02.
Finishing in 92nd h place was junior Jani Linde and in 95th place was senior Renea Marshall. Linde had a time of 27:16 whereas Marshall came in at 27:27.
Also running for the Pacers was freshman Tamekia Ford (100 – 27:55), senior Alley Dachenhaus (123 – 29:55) and freshman Alexis Williams (138 – 38:32).
