USC Aiken Softball Commences Preseason Practice
Despite the cold conditions in the area, Pacer fans it is time for USC Aiken spring sports to kick things into action.
The USC Aiken baseball and softball teams were supposed to begin their 2011 preseason preparations on Monday of this week, but obviously the inclement weather postponed everything.
With the start of school yesterday at USC Aiken, both the Pacer baseball and softball teams met for the first time in 2011 on Wednesday.
In an effort to try and get everyone ready for the start of the 2011 USC Aiken spring sports season the USC Aiken Sports Information Department is sitting down with the USC Aiken head baseball and softball coaches this week. The start of USC Aiken men’s and women’s tennis preseason practice is next week and the USC Aiken Sports Information Department will visit with Pacer head tennis coach Steve Dahm early next week.
USC Aiken Assistant Athletic Director for Communications and Promotions/Sports Information Director Brian Hand sat down with USC Aiken head softball coach Jerry Snyder earlier today. He talked with Pacer head baseball coach Kenny Thomas yesterday (Wednesday).
