USC Aiken Will Now Play Queens at Home Tomorrow
AIKEN, S.C. - USC Aiken head softball coach Jerry Snyder announced on Saturday that due to wintery weather in the Charlotte area, USC Aiken's scheduled road doubleheader with Queens on Sunday, Feb. 14 will now be played at home at J.H. Satcher Field.
The now home Valentine's Day doubleheader matinee is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
The USC Aiken softball team was ranked 13th in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division II Top 25 preseason poll, which was released on Wednesday, Jan. 27.
The ranking is the highest ever preseason national ranking for the Pacer softball program. The Pacers concluded the 2009 season ranked a program-best 12th.
