USC Aiken-Erskine Twinbill Moved to Wednesday
AIKEN, S.C. - Due to high winds and expected frigid temperatures throughout the course of the scheduled doubleheader, USC Aiken's softball twinbill with Erskine has been pushed back one day to Wednesday, Feb. 17.
The USC Aiken-Erskine doubleheader will now begin at 2 p.m. tomorrow.
Nationally-ranked USC Aiken opened its season on Valentine's Day by sweeping the Royals of Queens University (N.C.) at home at J.H. Satcher Field with two 2-0 victories that saw four different Pacers score.
The shutouts started the Pacers' season at 2-0.
After the rescheduled Erskine doubleheader, the Pacers will conclude their week with two road doubleheaders against South Atlantic Conference programs. The Pacers road swing begins with a twinbill against Newberry on Thursday, Feb. 18 in Newberry, S.C. First pitch from the circle is slated for 2 p.m.
USC Aiken then finishes things on the week by traveling to Catawba for a doubleheader on Saturday, Feb. 20. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m.
