USC Aiken Unveils Pacer Events Mobile App
AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken athletic department and office of student involvement jointly unveiled a new Mobile Application on Monday, Aug. 29, 2011.
The USC Aiken Pacer Events Mobile App can be downloaded at: http://uscapacersmobile.com/
When you access the Mobile Events App on an internet browser, simply click to add to your home screen.
The Pacer Events Mobile App is essentially a mobile handbook for USC Aiken events.
The App is centered around a special calendar that allows USC Aiken students and fans the chance to see everything going on within the athletic department and office of student involvement over the course of the coming days. There is also an area where you can click to find a link to all the scores and results from USC Aiken athletic events.
Also included in the Pacers Events App is information about USC Aiken’s Peer Educators and the Counseling Center as well as information about the Pacer FANatics, which is USC Aiken’s student athletic booster club.
The Pacer Events Mobile App also includes a link to USC Aiken’s ustream channel so you can watch Pacer athletic events on your smartphone.
Inside the Mobile App, there is even an area where you can find links on how to follow the Pacers on various social networking sites.
Once downloaded, the Pacer Events Mobile App works great on the iPhone, the iPad and on Droid smartphones and devices. It also works on BlackBerry’s, but the BlackBerry has to be utilizing a 6.0 Operating System.
The Pacers Events Mobile App is housed by Square Crop Studios, who develops products and provides services that empower student organizations to engage their students and improve communications.
