USC Aiken Holds Annual Athletic Banquet

AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken athletic department held its annual athletic banquet on Tuesday, April 26 at the Convocation Center.
Entitled “A Colorful Celebration of Success,” the 2011 USC Aiken Athletic Banquet and Awards ceremony was a fun-filled night designed to honor all of USC Aiken’s squads for all of their hard work for the Pacer cause on and off the field of play during the 2010-11 athletic year.
There was also a slideshow orchestrated by USC Aiken Assistant Athletic Director Angie Osbon that featured all of the USC Aiken student-athletes in action.
In addition to honoring the seniors for their commitment to Pacer athletics during the ceremony, USC Aiken’s athletic department also honored a grouping of student-athletes who have excelled in the classroom during the event. The USC Aiken athletic department currently has 47 student-athletes who have earned a 3.5 GPA or higher.
