Ace the Pacer and Al E. Cat Support a Positive Game Environment
In anticipation of both of the doubleheaders in the USC
Aiken-Augusta State men’s and women’s basketball
rivalry, the respective mascots met at Christenberry Fieldhouse in
Augusta, Ga. to discuss the upcoming games.
The annual mascot summit was held just days prior to the first of
the two doubleheaders between the two competitive, but friendly
rivals.
The first doubleheader will be played on Monday, Jan. 24 at
Christenberry Fieldhouse in Augusta, Ga. The 17th-ranked USC Aiken
women will square off with the Augusta State women at 5:30 p.m. The
USC Aiken men will then hit the hardwood against the third-ranked
Augusta State men immediately following the women’s game at
approximately 7:30 p.m.
The second doubleheader will take place at the USC Aiken
Convocation Center on Wednesday, Feb. 2. Once again, the
17th-ranked Pacer women and the Augusta State women will kick
things off at 5:30 p.m. The USC Aiken men and the third-ranked
Jaguar men will face off immediately the women’s game at
approximately 7:30 p.m.
